Carrier 60
The Carrie 60 Day Training & Consulting Package is designed for carriers seeking to add an additional stream of revenue to their current operation. Additionally, carriers that are using the services of a freight broker for a majority of their loads, will learn how to obtain direct shippers plus the ability to better negotiate when working with a broker.
Carriers wishing to add a freight brokerage to their current operation are not required to obtain their own authority, as they may contract to an existing freight broker in order to work under their authority. This will be discussed in detail during your training.
The C60 includes LIVE training via the internet, 60 days of consulting, and continued training and review through 24/7 unlimited access to our eWorkshop Plus. The C60 allows you and up to 3 staff members to attend.
Upon choosing this package you will be shipped the C60 Kit which includes your Freight Broker Manual, Freight Broker Workbook, and other supplies used during the training. Digital copies of the Freight Broker Manual and Freight Broker Workbook will be made available to you for download for distribution to others that may be attending. The digital copies are printable.
Prior to your scheduled training we will contact you for a preliminary interview to discuss your training. As staff may be attending, you may wish that certain information remain confidential. This preliminary interview will better assist us to tailor your training for your company.
We do recommend that all attendees be using the computer at their assigned workstation as much of the training will be hands on using freight broker tools, programs, and software.
The C60 is an excellent way to better equip your business to be more profitable now and in the future. The training can also be scheduled during times that do not interfere with your day-to-day business operations.
The Training
Training for you and your staff is conducted in 6 parts, LIVE, via the internet and telephone. It is not necessary for all to be at the same location for the training, as attendees will login to our system via the internet with a conference call set-up for audio if needed.
The C60 is conducted at a slower pace than our C30, allowing attendees with limited experience in the transportation industry the ability to receive the training without being overwhelmed.
Each individual part, of the 6 Part training, will last between one and two hours. The duration of each part is determined by the attendees and the amount of interaction they have with the consultant conducting the training. It is imperative that attendees understand each topic before moving forward. Our experienced consultants have learned to recognize when someone isn't fully understanding the material being presented and slow the pace to meet the needs of those in attendance.
At the completion of each part exercises will be assigned pertaining to the topics covered. These exercises include hands-on with freight broker tools, software, and programs that a freight broker will use on a daily basis. Should any find that they are having problems completing the exercises they should call their consultant for further explanation.
It is important that all attending complete the exercises before moving forward as each of the 6 parts work together to make the whole. A question and answer period is always conducted prior to, during, and at the end of each scheduled part.

All details for day-to-day operations of your freight brokerage and staff will be covered during training. All attending will obtain hands on training for working with load boards and freight broker software. Sales strategy and techniques will also be covered.
Additional training will be provided for you to create a freight broker agency system for your brokerage (for those choosing to obtain their own broker authority). This includes how to find agents, contracting, pay, and how to protect your brokerage from unscrupulous agents.
You will also receive our Freight Broker Report containing more information concerning instituting an agency system, financials, and form templates including day-to-day operational forms, load confirmations, carrier agreements, broker agent agreements, applications and more.
Additionally you have the option of adding a Web Design Package to the C60 at our client price of $395.00. This includes domain, design, and hosting for 1 year. If you select this option you will receive our Web Design Information Form via email within 24 hours. This will allow you to provide us details such as domain name choices, your published contact information, and the email addresses you would like set-up with your site. You will also be able to choose a design for your site as we have over 4,000 available. Please note that you will own your domain.
*We are able to make available your Authority, UCR, and BOC-3 if needed. An additional fee will apply.
The Consulting
Upon completion of your training you will have 60 days of unlimited phone and email support. You and your staff are encouraged and expected to use this as often as needed. The 60 day period can be extended. Our current rate for a 12 month extension is $600.00.
In addition to the unlimited phone and email support, you and your staff will have unlimited access to our eWorkshop Plus. You will receive a username and password allowing you and your staff to utilize this tool for review of the material covered in your C60 training and for additional training. The eWorkshop Plus contains individual training modules which include videos, links, downloads, and tests. Access is provided from the conclusion of your training to the end of your consulting period.
