Freight Broker 90

The Freight Broker 90 Training & Consulting Package is designed for those obtaining their own broker authority that wish to receive classroom training at our facility, 9 months of consulting, and continued training and review through 24/7 unlimited access to the Freight Broker eWorkshop Plus.

Upon choosing this package you and up to 3 of your staff will be scheduled for training at our location in Fort Smith, Ar. Training will last 3 days and is scheduled for the dates chosen by you. Training begins at 9:00 A.M. Daily and concludes at approximately 4:30 P.M, with intermittent breaks and a short lunch break.

Travel, meals, and hotel accommodations are not included however hotel discounts are available for those that will be attending. Upon registration you will receive an information email containing your confirmation, directions, local information, and information on discounted hotel accommodations

Prior to your scheduled training you will be contacted for a preliminary interview to discuss your on-site training. As staff may be attending, you may wish that certain information remain confidential. This preliminary interview will better assist us to tailor your training for your company.

Upon arrival you and your staff will receive our Freight Broker Training Manual, Freight Broker Training Workbook, and other supplies needed for your training. We do recommend that all attendees bring a laptop as much of the training will be hands on using freight broker tools, programs, and software. If contacted in advance, a laptop can be provided, for use during training, for those unable to provide their own.

The Training

Training for you and your staff is conducted in a classroom atmosphere and we recommend casual attire. Coffee and water is provided during your training with a soft drink and snack machine available. Interaction between attendees and your consultant is encouraged during training.

All details for day-to-day operations of your freight brokerage and staff will be covered during training. All attending will obtain hands on training for working with load boards and freight broker software. Sales strategy and techniques will also be covered.

Additional training will be provided for you to create a freight broker agency system for your brokerage. This includes how to find agents, contracting, pay, and how to protect your brokerage from unscrupulous agents.

You will also receive our Freight Broker Report containing more information concerning instituting an agency system, financials, and form templates including day-to-day operational forms, load confirmations, carrier agreements, broker agent agreements, applications and more.

Additionally you have the option of adding a Web Design Package to the Freight Broker 90 at our client price of $395.00. This includes domain, design, and hosting for 1 year. If you select this option you will receive our Web Design Information Form via email within 24 hours. This will allow you to provide us details such as domain name choices, your published contact information, and the email addresses you would like set-up with your site. You will also be able to choose a design for your site as we have over 4,000 available. Please note that you will own your domain.

Please note that we are able to make available your Authority, UCR, and BOC-3 if needed. An additional fee will apply.

The Consulting

Upon completion of your training, and beginning with your first day of operation, you will have 9 months of unlimited consulting which includes email and phone support. You and your staff are encouraged and expected to use this as often as needed. The 9 month period can be extended. Our current rate for a 12 month extension is $600.00.

In addition to the consulting with phone and email support, you and your staff will have unlimited access to the Freight Broker eWorkshop Plus. You will receive a username and password allowing you and your staff to utilize this tool for review of the material covered in your onsite training and for additional training. The eWorkshop Plus contains 6 training modules which include videos, links, downloads, and tests. Access is provided from the conclusion of your onsite training to the end of your consulting period.
