TALTOA offers 2 options for those seeking a way to learn more about becoming or working as a freight broker or freight broker agent. The Freight Broker Training Manual and the Freight Broker eWorkshop Plus. Both are excellent choices for learning and working in the transportation industry as a freight broker or freight broker agent.

The Freight Broker Training Manual is the first product offered by TALTOA in the mid 1990's, then known as Freight Broker Training 101. Originally not offered for sale, but rather to aid our own freight broker agents in learning how to broker freight properly. With the rise of the internet, we decided to make it available online as a stand alone product of our company. With regular updates, the Freight Broker Training Manual is used extensively throughout the United States by those wishing to work in or enter the industry.

As TALTOA grew, so have our training options. As we began consulting start-up and established freight brokerages, a need arose for an online training and review area for our clients. As the technology was invented, we were quickly able to create the first Freight Broker Training Online Workshop, today known as the Freight Broker eWorkshop Plus.

In 2007 the Freight Broker eWorkshop was made available to the public as a stand alone freight broker training aide. Today we feel that our Freight Broker eWorkshop Plus is the best online self-study training tool available for those wishing to begin a career as a freight broker or freight broker agent.

Please note that neither of these products are meant to replace the actual one-on-one training offered through our Freight Broker Training & Consulting Packages, but they are a great place to begin. Many have gone on to work as freight brokers or agents, with their start coming from the self-study options available from TALTOA.
